This is Sunnyfield's company culture and the core principle of our trading.

The existence of a nation relies on their people.
People will fail to live life fully without food.
Food will be meaningless to serve its purpose without healthiness.
A country should always ensure their people enjoy a healthy diet.

Fruits and vegetables are indispensable parts of a healthy diet and these are the products that Sunnyfield have been specialised in trading for over 20 years. This is the concept that Sunnyfield began with when we started trading in the New Spitalfields Market since 1995.

Sunnyfield has been a major wholesaler gathering an extensive range of exotic fruits, vegetables and other fresh produce from all over the world such as China, Thailand, South Asia, Europe, South America, USA, etc. Throughout the years, we have been bridging the gap between the British agricultural market and the international markets, opening the channels worldwide.

We are one of the leading importers of Chinese seasonal fruit and vegetables, and Thai herbs and spices. We have successfully integrated these exotic ingredients into the Western market, uniting the Chinese culture with the West, whilst still allowing the Chinese community to enjoy the taste of authentic Chinese cuisine in Europe. Since then, the world of vegetables has never been the same for the Western market.

To be the Market's first mover requires great courage and innovation, and this is exactly what we have at Sunnyfield. We are the first company to import premium Shandong ginger, peeled garlic, Thai herbs and Polish mushrooms into Britain. We were also the first to introduce a new product line of shredded spring green, also known as seaweed, to our customers. Our ingenuity of this product has saved a lot of chefs processing time in the kitchen, allowing them to focus on using our ingredients to create delicious dishes.

With a humble start, Sunnyfield has since developed into a well established, widely recognised business within the food industry. Sunnyfield is renowned for our supply of fresh fruits and vegetables in addition to being a socially responsible company.

We bear a strong sense of duty and care for those living in less fortunate communities. We have organised various charitable events to raise funds for The Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital and the Islington Chinese community centre. On 27th June 2009, we worked alongside the Spitalfields Market Tenants Association, the City of London, Walthamstow City Council and respected local Chinese entities to host a Gourmet Charity Gala in New Spitalfields Market to successfully raise funds to help rebuild the lives' of those affected by the Sichuan earthquake in China.

Moving forward, we will continue to deliver only the best for our customers. We will keep building stronger alliances with our business counterparts to explore new products and new markets for mutual benefits of our business partners and loyal customers.
